Task
The main goal was to design a website that would clearly and transparently present the mission of the Stanisław Lem Prize while building trust and credibility. It was essential to showcase the laureates in an attractive way, ensure intuitive navigation between sections, and create a welcoming touchpoint for communication with visitors. The website also needed to feature a news section to highlight ongoing activities of the foundation, while the overall design had to reflect professionalism and reinforce the prestige of the award.
Solution
A minimalist and modern layout was created to immediately communicate the award’s mission and values. The laureates’ section was divided into categories and enriched with descriptions, allowing users to quickly learn about the winners. An intuitive navigation menu guides visitors to the most important subpages, while the footer and dedicated contact page provide all key details—from email and location to social media links. A news section was added to present ongoing events and keep the site dynamic. The entire design is built on consistent branding and clean typography, which strengthens the professional image of the foundation.
About the Project
The Stanisław Lem Prize is an initiative created to honor the legacy of one of Poland’s most visionary writers and thinkers. The award celebrates individuals and organizations who embody Lem’s spirit of innovation, imagination, and critical reflection on the future of science, culture, and technology.
